Woolace Electric was recently awarded a BWC grant, to help improve the wire installation process while reducing the risk of injury to upper and lower extremities related to slips, trips, and falls from heights. The grant funds will be used to purchase a 19′ and 26′ scissor lifts.
Woolace was one of four Williams County entities to receive grants to purchase equipment designed to substantially reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses. Sarah Morrison, BWC Administrator and CEO, stated “Workers are employers’ most important asset, and preventing accidents can keep them healthy and productive. Employers investing in safety should consider applying for a safety grant and making use of the many BWC services that can help reduce claims and lower costs.”
Woolace Electric remains committed to the safety of our employees, and thanks the Ohio BWC for the grant funds to take yet another step to ensure that safety.
